My Mothers’Eyes
My mother has a pair of keen eyes which can speak. With her eyes, she observed my mood, ge me courage and made me strong. Therefore, I could face difficulties.
When I was a baby learning to walk, my mother always lent me a hand and encouraged me to get up while I fell down. As I finally threw myself into her arms, hereyes iled with praise. Later as I grew up, I met with more difficulties. But whenever I was frustrated, my mother’s eyes always ge me hope and encouragement.Once I failed in exams, my mother encouraged me to find out the reasons. Instead ofblaming me she pushed me to do better. At last I overcame the difficulty. Now I hegrown up and become more independent, but whenever I come across setbacks, mymother’s eyes are always with me encouraging me wherever I go.

学生是否应该学做家务?
Nowadays, we can see some boys and girls who live in a all world of theirown. They bury themselves among books and are proud of themselves. They thinkthat it will make them lose their face if they do housework for they often think themselves very noble.
These young people are wrong. In my opinion every student should he aknowledge of housework. After all, they will he a family of their own, and theyshould do their part in keeping a good home. Boys should also learn to do housework,for what will they do if they remain single? Though not all boys remain single, yetthey will be very helpful in the family if they know some housework. Anyhow theywill not lose anything, but, on the contrary, they will gain something useful.
For what I said above, we can find some examples of our fellow-students studying abroad. All young men do housework as girls do. Someone would argue that wecan employ servants. This is true. However, what shall we do if the servant lees usand all things are left to ourselves? We just cannot lee our clothes as they are andlet worms and ants eat them up. And what can we do it we go and study in a foreigncountry where servants are out our means to employ? We must work for ourselves.Why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? Everyoneshould learn to do housework. What do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

Dream and Reality梦想与现实
Sometimes it seems that what is practical and sensible does not connect withyour most treasured dreams. Yet when you look deeply enough, the connection iost certainly there.
For if you could not dream, what would be the point of tending to the practicalthings? And if you did not tend to those practical concerns, how could you ever hopeto attain your dreams?
Stop fretting about how the things you must do are interfering with the thingsyou want to do. Instead, discover and appreciate and streng then the connection between the two.
Make your dreams a part of your reality. And make your reality a part of yourdreams. There is no reason why your dreams must oppose your reality. Improve yourdreams and your reality by bringing them together.
Put the power of passion into the day-to-day, sensible and practical things, andput the power of reality into your dreams. You’ll find it to be a winning combination indeed.
